So is the labyrinth like, all the way on the top of the Monolith or on the side? :0c or does the labyrinth surround the entire Monolith

The Labyrinth is inside the Monolith. In pocket space. So if you somehow made it to The Monolith, if you found a way inside you would enter into The Labyrinth. (Cue 80s Bowie music.)

Not only awesome but so well-suited for the purpose. Should be simple and straightforward to draw for all involved. I especially like that thing about the tree changing shape. No consistency required

Haha. Yeaaaahhh. I'm always thinking of better branch arrangements every time I draw it so this way I can test them all.

I'm so good at drawing branches and so fucking terrible at drawing foliage. just die, trees.

It's the foliage that gets you everytime, lol. I think it's because the branches are a basic pattern even though they are randomized. But leaves are a basic patter PLUS they are intricately detailed AND they're randomized on top of another randomized pattern.  That's why I just use the "cloud method" lol. Foliage takes sooo much time.

Though on the flip side, pattern brushes can make these things way easier than if I was trying to do it by hand.

It is very satisfying knowing that you understand this stuff so well and it's not just me.

WHoo dang, it's almost like the Judges have learned from past AATR contestants trying to 'storm the castle' and are taking precautions! ;D

Haha. I'm sure some will try, but we won't make it easy for them.

Thank you! It was one of those things I kept going back to over and over trying to figure out how to make better. I've been putting a bit of effort into developing settings and atmosphere. Usually I skimp out on those but they add a lot of value.
