    Once out of the water, I ran over to the bench where Carla now lays as a corpse. I adjust the top of my monokini to be covered again. Instantly, I could tell that we are dealing with another vampire. I could tell by the form and by the way the vampire is dressed that it is a famale. This vampire has on black thigh high leather boots, tight blue jeans, and grey tank top with a blue t-shirt over the top that ended at the midriff. She was now just withdrawing from Carla and she turned to face us. Her black hair was done in a bun and she had a trickle of blood moving down her lips.

    “You know poaching is never very nice. She was our donor.” I said with heavy anger in my voice just as Nathan was coming up to my side. I am sure he noticed that Carla’s dead. I held my arm out before he could run past me to hold my love back.

    “I don’t care. You shouldn’t leave your food alive like that.” The vampire said followed by a chuckle. “I take it you’re Bianca Bordeaux. You are indeed as beautiful as the media says you are.”

    “Identify yourself now.” I answer back as I didn’t take to her compliment.

    “Forgive me, queen of ‘my’ city.” The vampire said before taking a sarcastic bow. “I am Lilith Bridgeport and this now my city again.”

    I raised my eyebrow at Lilith knowing full well I would be able to easily defeat her in a fight if I desire. “You know I became Queen of the city because it was given to me by the other vampires as well as my work in helping both humans and vampires right? So calling this your city is wrong.” I responded. “I don’t like that you have been so bold to show here tonight.”

    I could see Lilith’s anger grow in her eyes first as she rose up and then her face. “This is my city. If you haven’t figured it out by my last name, my family is the founders of this place.” She flashed a little fang in a triumphant smile.

    “You killed her.” Nathan said softly though both of us could hear. It broke our conversation for the moment as well.

    “Yes I did. Humans are nothing to us other than entertainment and food.” Lilith quickly responded. “And please don’t change the subject.”

    “Ah I heard about your family.” I said in a smile. “I am guessing you were the one that the Bridgeport family could never find again.”

    “That I am. My father gave me up to a man to be married as it was arranged. On my wedding night, my husband turned me into a vampire. I killed him and fled. I have now returned to reclaim my birthright.” Lilith again spoke in a triumphant tone.

    “You don’t know much about vampire laws. Just by your words alone, you said that you fled Bridgeport meaning you abandoned your city so you have no claim.” I returned and this time I spoke in a triumphant tone.

    Lilith put her index finger up in the air and moved it side to side as if to say ‘ah ah ah’. “Again I don’t care. I am back and I am taking back my city that you have so built up lovely. You did a great job but now I am telling you to leave.” Lilith gave her warning.
