I was so excited when I got my digital art equipment, especially after thinking and talking about it for a year, but now that I have it, I can't do anything with it!

You see, I did something (like falling from a certain height and landing with almost my full weight on it) to my wrist a couple of weeks ago. SoΒ after trying to ignore it and just succeeding in exasperating the issue, I finally decided to do the right thing and put it in a brace. It had to be my drawing wrist, too. So while I try to be a responsible adult and do this healing thing right, my posts will be somewhat barren for a little while.

If it makes you feel any better, I will be a sulking responsible adult for the duration of this. :S

The problem is, I've turned in text writing for graphic noveling. I believe that might be my storyteller calling. I've got the idea, plot and even character descriptions in my head, but I can't really get them out right now. I'm writing some notes for plot points, character sheets, world descriptions and other basic world building stuff, but nobody wants to see my disjointed scribbles here!Β

I do, too! Drawing was my creative and angst outlet, and now it's gone! It's been a rough week.

I'm hoping that I can take it off this weekend!

I've pretty much got lined up my next projects. I'm trying to take the drawing down time to do some research on the graphic novel project, to get some realism embedded into the fantastic. So, hopefully this time isn't wasted either! XD
