this is gorgeous!Β I actually had a dream about the God of Springtime and he looked very much like this and was laying the same way on a soft bed of clouds.... and I have not seen this piece of art until today!

The morning after the Saturnalia? A Bacchanalian Hangover? With the arm bands and the bowl of fruits, he looks like he was at a party last night. But his memories are blissful, his body stirs, his loins flare, remembering all the drunken loves of the night before. I love the positioning of the fawn, soft succulent innocence, newly born and awakened. The light flowing colors of his toga are so beautiful and playful. Wonderful horny work!

Wow, this is so pretty and tranquil. As soon as i saw the thumbnail it reminded me of John Everett Millais's "Ophelia" tho this so much more positive. I love the colors, they make me feel relaxed, just like the pretty boy there^^

He's very smooth and sensual. The quality of this picture surpasses that of alot of the artists I've seen trying to go for the sort of realistic-but-not-entirely.. hmm, it's hard to describe.

I am happy that the winter is almost over and the snow is goen, but I am not happy that now it is grey and gloomy ewerywhere.

Partially, I left this in my watchlist so I would remember to eventually comment on it... and partially because it looks really really nice even as the little thumbnail. I like the way it's part realism, and part almost graphic in quality, but mostly I love the pose and as you said 'wanton'ness of it. He looks so relaxed and open and so very hot ^_~
