This is a wonderful shot; I love the dark feel that it has about it, and the contrast that you chose makes it look like it goes on forever, which only adds to the eerieness of it.

Yes this is a photo modified using HDR, little bit of sharpening and adjustment of contrast.
Hardware was: D70 & a tripod. I think the shutter was set for 25 seconds or so [some large number - I don't quite recall].
