After using Infernal Mania's power to defeat the Renegades, Flawless Victory was left standing alone in one of the rooms of Canterlot Castle when the door opened and his best friend, Prince Bright Spell entered the room.

Bright Spell: Hey. I just came by to see how you're doing.

Flawless Victory: Me? I'm fine. Why?

Bright Spell: Flawless we must be honest with each other. It is one of the elements of friendship after all. I saw that fire symbal on your trophy cutie mark.

Flawless Victory: Oh...that.... It's nothing. I just kind of painted that on their to make my cutie mark seem tough.

Bright Spell: But tonight during that battle you seemed like you weren't yourself.

Flawless knew he couldn't hide the truth from Bright Spell. He turned around to face him.

Flawless Victory: Bright Spell. If I tell you something, you've got to promise not to tell anypony. Not even my parents.

Bright Spell: Okay I promise.

Flawless Victory: I wasn't myself. When the renegades threatened to kill my sister I heard a voice. Infernal Mania's voice. She promised to help me save Shining Diamond, but when I let her in she tried to take over my body.

Bright Spell: Flawless, you shouldn't try to hide this. You need to tell your parents, especially your mother. She's been though this before when she was a filly.

Flawless Victory: No! I don't want to worry her or anypony else. I have to face this alone.

Bright Spell: Flawless, have you learned nothing from the school of friendship? No pony is an island. You need your friends and your family to help you get though this even more so.

Spoiled Diamond and Lance Twister entered the room.

Spoiled Diamond: He's right.

Bright Spell decided to leave the room and let Flawless and his parents have a much needed discussion.

Flawless Victory: Mum, Dad, I can explain.

Spoiled Diamond looked into his eyes and saw Infernal Mania in his eyes staring back at her laughing over the fact that she has Spoiled Diamond's son at her mercy.

Spoiled Diamond: I'm sorry Flawless, but until we figure out how to remove her from your body, you must not use those powers again.

Flawless Victory: But Mum I'm sure I can handle it.

Spoiled Diamond: No you can't. The more you use her powers the quicker she takes over you.

Lance Twister: You should listen to your mother, son. She's already been though what you went though. We'll get though this as a family.

Spoiled Diamond: Until then you are not to leave the mansion until we find a way to remove her from you.

Flawless Victory: But Mum.

Lance Twister: No but's. We're just doing what's best for you.

And so Flawless Victory was taken back to the family mansion where he would stay until they could find a way to remove Infernal Mania from him.
