Description This Celtic knot border was the most difficult to date. The outside border was first a pen and ink drawing and then scanned into Photoshop where it was colorized and texturize. The inner border was drawn as a graphite pencil drawing and then scanned into Photoshop, using the multiply feature of the layer palette placed onto scanned parchment. The serpentine Lion to the right and left of the border was also a graphite drawing added the same way to the page. The symbols of the top, sides and bottom represent the four elements. The top center represents earth, center lrft represents water, center right represents Air and bottom center represents fire. The symbols in the outside corners represent the seasons of the year. The symbol in the top left represents winter, the symbol in the top right- spring, the symbol in the bottom left- summer, and the symbol in the bottom right - autumn. This page is a companion page to fav.me/d4e4i0j As in all my work if anyone sees any typos or misspellings, please pass it along, I would appreciate it.

I love your pages. I was curious though: I see a page devoted to all elements, and individual element... EXCEPT Earth. Is that coming? I would love to read it

I have been taking a considerable amount of painting classes over the last year and a half, and haven't got back to work on my book of shadows. I haven't fully worked out in my head how to handle the element of earth. A pregnant woman is the most obvious but I'm trying to avoid the obvious. So one of these days, yes I will complete this last element. And then move on to the element of spirit. Thank you for your interest and the lovely compliment

Is it okay if I use this in a story?

I'm not sure what you mean by using this story. The artwork is original but I have taken the content from the Internet and is not my own words.

Oh...never mind then ^^
I just meant the the phrases. I thought they were your own creation.

This is going to drive you nuts but I found a few minor typos in the Earth and Air texts.
There's some punctuation missing at the end of Earth and a minor typo in Air ("mys-torms" should be "my storms").

This is fabulous otherwise though! Honestly the typos are so small you hardly notice them. This is a beautiful piece of art, I've always loved the Celtic styling, I get so jealous of people who can actually draw it!
