Tempian and alien military spacecraft.

Zena 5 (top):
Standard Tempian military spacecraft that forms the backbone of its space-faring combat fleet. Employs heavy usage of plasma-kinetic weaponry and homing missiles to carry out most combat missions and deliver a lot more firepower than what most would expect from a vehicle of its size. Can deploy a plasma shield from the nose to conduct aerobraking maneuvers. This also serves as a shield against projectiles striking the nose and can serve as a ram in a pinch too (not that Tempian pilots would ever fly so close to an opponent anyway).

- Length: 630 m
- Main armament: x 4 plasma-kinetic cannons (72 m length) mounted in nose. Tempian engineers realised such weapons were more than enough to knock-out most alien spacecraft with one to two good hits so instead of mounting a larger gun, they opted for the four instead to increase the rate of fire and chance of a hit when fired simultaneously.
- Secondary armament: x 12 twin plasma-kinetic artillery turrets covering most angles, x 8 rotating drum missile systems located in the built up area above the radiators (doors open on either side of the '''''wings''''' and drum rotates so the missile can be fired out one door while its exhaust will exit the other, thus reducing recoil experienced by the spacecraft which could cause it to roll. Top door is to facilitate loading.), x 12 CIWS.
Docking: x 1 initiating port mounted in nose, x 4 receiving ports located between missile systems (with appropriate fittings, may be used to tow one armoured shuttle or similar each).

- Tenari post humans forced to abandon their home planet and journey into the stars. They now inhabit a small strip of space between the Commonwealth and the Dishnian Empire known as the Dinnackian Expanse (hence they referred to as 'Dinnacks' by most aliens but they call themselves 'Tempian' for the first world the settled). Despite local technological supremacy, the Tempians have loosely allied themselves with the Commonwealth for protection from Dishnian aggression.

Urgel (middle):
Smaller Uganthki military spacecraft primarily for raiding and boarding. Large internal space for troops and plunder.

- Length: 768 m
- Main armament: x 8 energy discus projectors
- Secondary armament: x 12 CIWS
- Docking: x 1 boarding claw mounted in nose, x 4 receiving ports located beneath top sphere.

- The Uganthki are a race of large hominid shaped aliens which stand a bit over three meters tall. They are extremely strong and feature bony ridges across their body. Once they held an impressive star kingdom but that had fallen by the time the Tempians arrived on the scene and now they form many disparate raider states preying on the vulnerable or serving as mercenaries for unaligned factions or private bidders within the Commonwealth.

Shrien (bottom):
Dishnian light attack vehicle. Lightly armoured and incredibly fast but with a deadly main gun. Operates in small groups to snipe important opposition assets before retreating to the cover of larger Dishnian spacecraft.

- Length: 270 m
- Main armament: x 1 spinal disintegrator
- Secondary armament: x 4 prism launchers on either side of each '''''wing''''', x 4 torpedo tubes on either side of the two nose 'prongs', x 2 CIWS on either side of the upper hull.
- Docking: x 2 receiving located behind each CIWS unit

- Dishnia are furry mammalian creatures split into two apparent sub-races, the subservient plebeian variety which make up the largely expendable masses and the ruling patrician variety who are larger, stronger and smarter. Dishnian armies typically take the form of hordes of pitiful plebeian troopers led by formidable patrician warriors with all the best gear. The vast Dishnian Empire is one of the Commonwealth's most powerful antagonists.

Armed Shuttle beneath the Tempian spacecraft is provided for scale purposes. It is about 30 m in length.

Note, while these spacecraft are quite small compared to many contemporary space fantasy vehicles (like in Star Wars or 40k) it should not be assumed that they are by any means weaker for given the weapons some possess, building them larger would be a waste of resources since they would be destroyed just as easily (i.e. really powerful guns).
