Okay, I watched Stargate (the 1994 film) and thought Jaye Davidson did an amazing job as Ra. I looked for fanfictions bout his character but there was little around.So- I have made this! This is a challenge for people who write crossover fanfiction!
The idea is that Ra had a Stargate on his ship too and there is another Stargate on Earth- using these Stargate's he escapes to Earth. I don't know a lot about SG1 but I do watch SGA and I gather the Stargates have to be fixed to a point. So pretend that Ra's ship could still be considered on Abydos. Ra finds himself with only his sarcophagus and has to blend in while he has little resources.
Now- this is where the crossover comes into it all.
I want Ra to have to merge himself into a fandom- maybe he becomes a student at CalSci and runs into Charlie Eppes? Maybe he becomes a crime boss and the White Collar unit have to hunt him down? I would love to see how Ra interacts with different fandoms. I would like him to develop and see things differently as he begins to make friends and attachments. After all there is about a gap between the TV series and Film.
I would like it to be Slash if possible.
I think that Ra would probably be a switch in bed- but looking at the actor Jaye he is quite feminine looking I can't help but want him to be taken care of by someone (like Dean from SPN)...I could see someone loving him for him would change Ra...
I would also like to have Ra retain long hair and a love of fine things. Also a new name to blend in would be good- maybe something which means Sun or can be shortened into Ra...

I do have a Ra fanfic where he loses a girl he loves and discovers that she was reincarnated on Earth. He travels to Earth, disguises himself as a new student at her school, and does whatever he can to get here to love him and return to Abydos. I don't know if it's something you'll be interested in since it's not really what you require.

He is stranded on earth, without a ship, and now, because of that he can´t rule earth anymore, he (albeit that of course makes him angry), he has to try to live on earth undiscovered. Like a human.

Yeah, Ra is so cute although he is evil and since I saw de film dream with him having that extrange changes for a Goa'uld... being better :3 an more sexy.

At that moment there was a knock on the door softly.
"Yes."
As it opened, like through a breeze the feel of familiarity and his guilt was back.
"Damn!" He thought. "A thousand one times! Damn it!"
Delia said nothing, she just stood there.
"What do you want?" He asked.
"I just wanted to... say goodbye ...", she breathed.
Ra snorted.
She walked slowly across the room towards him. He didn´t saw her, because he stood with his back to her, but he felt it.
Finally, she stood before him.
Tears glistened in her eyes.
"Please ...", she whispered with broken voice.
Ra still hesitated a moment, but then he bent slowly to kiss her. She sobbed involuntarily, as their lips found each other.

Ra moved his head back and pulled Delia towards him.
She sobbed. "Why?" She whimpered. "Why do I have to ... you..."
Ra sighed, put his finger onto her lips and closed his eyes.
Then he looked into hers. "Because I love you." He said softly and clearly.
She gasped for breath and shook with a renewing sob.
Then she laid her head against Ras chest. He embraced her with one arm and stroked her hair and cheek with his hand slowly, again and again. Delia sighed deeply and let him smooch her with closed eyes.
Suddenly she heard Ras voice near her ear.
"It is a war breaking out again. And there will be a war for the title of supreme system lord. Because of that I want you to leave. So I know you in safety. "
"But ... you're the most powerful of the Goa'uld ... why should happen anything while I´m with you?"
Ra kissed her again. "Please. Do it for my sake." Delia felt like she misheard. Please? He had actually begged her for something?
"Forgive me." Ra said, very quietly.
"... I love you."
Delia's lips trembled.
"Thank you ...", she said softly.
Ra nodded slightly. "Good ..."
He cleared his throat.
"Good bye."
She nodded as well and took a step backwards.
"Take care of yourself. And of Ilani ...", he said with shaky voice.
She nodded again and took another step.
"Now go already! Go away! "Thought Ra and his heart gave him a pang.
She did not move.
"Farewell," he said again, this time with a firm voice.
She lifted her head slightly, breathing heavily.
Then she turned around and left.
Her steps became faster and faster until she ran finally.
Away from him.
Ras heart drawed itself together, he struggled for breath, swallowed hard and looked down at the crystal in his hand.
Then he closed his fingers around it and went with bowed head over to the throne room.
Slowly, but with firm steps.

Yeah, I am a romantic person and when they are sexy it makes me angry when producers do them evil ¬¬
And after the new meeting they must repare the sarcofagus to not have the evilness as consecuence of its using! ^^

You can come across with evil people trough all de Universe... and it isn't necesary to be a Goa'uld for being evil. Then there is de Tok'Ra... they aren't evil but they are Goa'ulds... so the problem isn't in the Goa'uld themselves. ^^
The Tok'Ra usually sais that evilness comes from using a lot the sarcofagus. Reading some stories (or imagining them) I find the theory that the diference between Goa'uld and Tok'Ra is that the second have a real err... how can I say it? a real symbiosis between de human and Goa'uld?
What would happen if Ra survived to the bomb by a miracle and in that moment he found the feelings having that symbiosis? It would be very interesting, wouldn't be? And if someone helps him much better because he will have a hard way to walk. *.*
I've been thinking and I found the modern name of Ramsey to him... It sounds like the pharaoh and has Ra inside

"Ra´ul" would also sound good, it would have the name "Ra" and the word "Goa´uld" within...
i know something, how he could have survived.
When the bomb exploded, it throws hims across the room, but after some pain (poor Ra) he lands into the opüen sarcophagus, which is itself throwed through the room. Completely disorientated and panic it throws Ra withing that thing against a window and out of the pyramid. The werefloating through the universe unendlingly time until he found a way to make the sarcophagus magnetically and it sticks at the next ship.
