I had honestly never considered this outcome until now.

I went with destroy, because my Shepard wanted the Reapers dead. There was no way she was going to risk any option that kept them alive. That being said, the destroy ending is extremely tragic. My Shep honestly believed that the Geth and EDI were alive. "Does this unit have a soul?" Yes. Yes it does. But EDI and and Geth were both willing to put their lives on the line to destroy the Reapers. Their loss is tragic, but it was necessary.

La critique de Natsumi est très pertinente et juste même si je n'aurais jamais pu me résoudre à détruire les synthétiques y compris les moissonneurs, leur présence étant pour moi légitime
et dans l'ordre des choses malgré les conséquences désastreuses. Leur destruction ne fait que contourner ou repousser le problème et leur coexistence est je pense nécessaire.
Je trouve très enrichissant d'avoir autant de point de vue philosophiques en tout cas!

Synthesis=Let the Geth and EDI alive,but force everyone to be half machine
Destroy=Kill the Reapers and save the galaxy,but kills EDI and Geths
Control=Saves everyone,but follow Ilussive's Man plan

The illusive man's plan was to use Reapers in order to control the galaxy, and install human suprematy. When you control Reapers with Shepard, he/she says that he/she wants to protect his/her friends and the peace in galaxy. It's not really the same plan

EDI/Joker is my Mass Effect OTP...the depth of Joker's feelings for EDI is something I don't think anyone expected. This just slays me ;-;

I think that the choice was always to Destroy the Reapers. That's what Shepard has being fighting for since the first game. I'm honestly against any researches regarding AIs (in real life) because people forget that machines are machines and not real beings, even we would like to believe they are. I don't believe in what the Catalyst says, cause he tries to convince Shepard to not choose Destroy playing with her emotions to change her mind. Even if what he says is true, that the Geth and all AIs would be destroyed, machines can be rebuilt. It's not like everybody is back on the stone age. If AIs didn't have backups or similar in future, they are really dumb then.

I've chosen Synthesis every time. im fine sacrificing myself...but to sacrifice Joker's love? I just couldn't do it, even before the Extended Cut DLC. I still hope in my heart, that if they can fix the Mass Relays after Destroy, then hopefully that means they can fix EDI too

Qui aurait pu croire que le cœur d'un être de création charnelle aurait pu balayer une partie de sa nature et de son histoire, s'oublier en somme dans le plus passionnant et enrichissant des délires, pour apprendre à aimer et désirer l'âme d'une enfant de conception artificielle ? Joker fût le premier non pas à le croire mais à le ressentir. C'est à travers cette scène que l'on prend vraiment conscience qu'IDA n'était en aucun cas qualifiable par le corps d'adulte qui la constituait. Au fond qu'importe la matière, ce qui compte c'est l'esprit, cet esprit qui a su s'affranchir des ses limites par son jugement éthique, sa juste et attendrissante naïveté, son intelligence incorruptible, tout ceci au travers d'une croissance atypique mais surtout grâce à l'équilibre parfait résultant de son hybridité qui la rendait bien plus unique que tous les êtres qui l'entouraient. Ce trait sublime de la philosophie de ce jeu est parfaitement illustré par cette œuvre qui ne fait que nous conforter dans notre admiration. Merci encore à toi, Brinx-II !

Yeah, I feel sorry for Geth and... EDI. But I prefer ending by Drew Karpyshyn and not those damned Mac Walters wrote. Besides - synthesis is just wrong - it's too much of a moral issue - control is better... but if I chose control I would be so mad I would put renegade Shepard inside there. New Evil Machine God.

I chose control so that I could "control" the Reapers into the sun. Presto! Reapers destroyed. Geth and EDI alive.

I went for Control, i couldn't just kill EDI and the Geth. Control is the most happy ending because nobody dies, the reapers reconstruct all the things that they destroyed and Shepard is still technically alive.

I chose the destroy ending because it was the one that fit with all the things my Shep did through all the three games ! Even if Synthesis is clearly BioWare's favorite ending, I just don't like the idea of Shepard forcing everyone to become something else than what they already are ^^

Synthesis. I didn't go through all that stuff with making a peace between geth and quarians, just to blow all synthetics up with one touch.
Although I do agree Synthesis as a whole is utterly magical. Still, better than genocide (and I'm naive and believe in human/alien goodness and stuff).
My personal headcanon is that Shepard was brainwashed by Reapers from the start (Indoctrination Theory, yay!).
And most importantly - You made an AWESOME piece of art again, friend
