his face reminding me of the face of david the king from the bible [david and goliet]
in general, i paint also my figures on the side [i dont know why] and its disterbing me when i do so. but in your case its not. perhaps because he is coming in the picture....
very expressive colors use...beautiful!

I'm glad you mentioned the business of off setting the figures because I caused me to go look (relook) at your marvelous gallery. Indeed, many are off center - but to my eye, this adds impact to the paintings. I rediscoverd many of your's, especially the earlier ones, which are fabulous and moving. my old paintings was different in their concept ...they was more traditional then what i do now.
and the funny things is - i finished them faster then i do now. i have become harder on my self lately.
the face of your moddel, i have seen davide face in one of the bible storries, however, i dont remember where. was it maybe michael angelo statue "david" ???
