Just reading all of these alternate endings...my mind is blown! I now know my story can end in three ways.

1. Shooting my dearest friend and getting killed myself.

2. Shooting everyone I know and taking rule of royalty or something.

3. Giving up and going home.

They all seem lit to me, this might really be a hard decision.Β

HA! He even included the fade-to-white, meaning this didn't happen!

(Fade-to-white, Walker is deceiving himself or hallucinating, fade-to-black actually happened)

you really did a great job on the endings, the all so feelings are traumatic. Β you've outdid yourself. just one thing, how the hell did canons feature celeste telling yu to kill your friends... clearly PTSD exists in military.... i guess the military is worse than drugs xD

In a wasteland such as that, where your whole life you've known nothing about the outside, once traveled and seeing the horrors that await you, giving so much just to keep going, to not give into the wastelands grip... Being able to see yourself as those you kill, being able to just walk by a pony you've just blown the head off of and think nothing of it when you nearly fainted after trying to upchuck your breakfast, it weights on your mind, breaks you down... Even if you survive to see a better Equestria, to see it being restored to it's innocent past self...

Have you survived? Has your mind survived? Would you be able to cope? Or has only your body survived?

If I was to go through what Littlepip did and face that same question, I doubt I'd say anything different, I doubt anyone would say different.

I always love this ending so much, just because I'm a sucker for good endings.

But what I love more is that Little Pip is now a true hero and survivor.

She did many horrible things, and while she says that she didn't survive, she's doing what takes a brave mare to do.

She's continuing the fight and struggle to live.

It will not be easy, but she's going for it.

Go with the Wind, Little pip.

Note the white screen.

In "Spec Ops: The Line" a fade-to-black or cut-to-black means that the previous events ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

But a fade-to-white or cut-to-white like this one..... means that it wasn't real, or the protagonist was hallucinating.

There are no happy endings.

This comic is glorious. I prefer the bad endings over the good endings myself because they make more sense to me. Littlepip sacrificed everything to save equestria, after entering the SSP she didnt want to leave because she couldnt face and live with all she had done dispite still wanting to be with homage and her friends. In this comic she failed. After everything through the story of FoE she had failed and snapped because all she did was for nothing. Im ignoring the hallucination stuff because that doesnt really make sense but the idea of her sacrifice meaning nothing is why I like this comic.

In theory, 4;

One where she comits suicide.

One where she attacks her friends-and dies.

One where she attacks her friends and... 'wins'.Β

And the last one, where she surrenders.

((lol jk i think its a really great ending honestly and i love how or art looks , though it seemed sad i kinda think this is a fitting ending good job *u*))
in context you cant really know what happens here whether she loses her mind and becomes something else, or if she commits suicide there are many possiblilitys

This is the ending I chose, and probably the only one I could accept myself making.

It's time to go back home Pip. Go back to your friends, go back to your house at the junction with the little garden in the back, go back to your Homage and start a family using some kind of unicorn magic, go back home.

Makes me feel that this is almost a happier ending than the actual book. Amazing work Brisineo, these have been amazing.

Why do i have a feeling that little pip is already dead because she said "who says i did"

UpriverHurdle5 In reply to xxthorntailxx [2015-03-31 05:32:44 +0000 UTC]

What she means by "Who says I did" was not surviving physical but mentally, when you go through what she's gone through most if not all people/ponies would be left mentally traumatized. So when she says "Who says I did" she means that she's been changed so much by the realization and mental trauma that she's practically a different person/pony.

*sigh* The good through all the bad. Β Even if it ended up killing Littlepip's sanity. Β (Even if what is considered sane is mostly agreed upon by the type of society you live in or around.)

Shogun-Nesto In reply to Daiskida [2015-03-31 03:37:49 +0000 UTC]

Calling it a good ending after all is said and done is, in my opinion, not fitting. She's left with the hollow feeling of fighting "the good fight" having done little to no good at all. With "Celestia" telling her "In the end you still get to go home, lucky you." what feeling would anyone be left with? Certainly not fulfilled I don't think.Β
But that's just my hamburger talk, The Line was under no circumstances a feel good sort of game, where every situation and decision left a miserable feeling at the bottom of anyone's heart who went in with a conscience.Β

Daiskida In reply to Shogun-Nesto [2015-03-31 07:34:41 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that's kinda the point of the game. Unlike CoD that glorifies the shit out of war like a John Millius Red Dawn movie, The Line pretty much slaps you with a cold fish, points at the player and goes "WAR ISN'T GLORIOUS! NOR IS IT A DUMB ACTION MOVIE! THIS IS WHAT WAR REALLY IS!"
