Description
One of the many things Cree had to deal with after the bond with Nella was to periodically meet with a doctor that specialized in patients who underwent unexpected and life-changing transformations and helping them come to terms with the changes their new states brought into their lives. Such doctors were important in a world where transformations – brought on by magical, supernatural, or other means – could occasionally occur, as leaving those afflicted with these issues without someone to turn to was considered a disservice.Related content

I can see Cree initially being adamant about still trying to be seen as male. Though over time she slowly starts to realize that it becomes easier and easier to accept her new life, especially with Nella talking to her.
As for the name Cree? I just felt that the name worked for the character. The name jumped out to me when I thought about what name to give.
