Because these bitches 'bout to mow your ass down.Last commission in my pile, this one's for *GumDragonZ !
I had a lot of fun drawing Scanty and Kneesocks for the first time. Since the commissioner requested I draw them in their "Season 2" attire, I had some leeway (but not a lot) with their designs.
The most difficult part of this was Kneesocks's weapon (because it's not Double Gold Spandex) and maybe the chainsaw that Scanty has. Everything else was pretty darn easy.

Well, that's because I suppose Studio Gianax's writers have spent the last 3 years smashing their heads off the wall after they suddenly came down of whatever they were smoking and realized they kind of hole they'd written themselves into with that ending. Because Brief and Chuck with Garterbelt doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

Yeah, but it's definitely different. The fans are DYING to see what's going to happen, but I doubt there's going to be a season 2. Gainax is know for trolling their fanbase, and the laws against pornography and anything borderline have gotten harsher since.

C'mon this was a 2010/2011 anime with a cartoon style resembling powerpuff girls on crack. I've seen way worse than this. The most this could be pulled up for would be it's language and themes (I don't think priests with obsessions with Bondage and molesting little boys go down well with the general public), but honestly, the only reason this could be pulled up is because someone has to draw this. If this (in some parallel universe) was some kind of Hollywood, Β Live action Summer movie (as unlikely as it would be considering this is just a little too weird for Hollywood) it would most likely get brushed over as some kind of really weird and offensive movie, but I doubt the FCC would be all over their asses.Β

It's not so much the art and drawing as the themes. It is pretty sexual in nature (not that I mind of course) so I can see it being a target. Other than that, it's purely Gainax. They could also be going the Invader Zim route and see taking it out as a way to keep the fanbase going.
