Buckets are perverse because they are essential to mating for Trolls. Trolls put their "genetic material" (which would be anything. It hasn't really been defined in the series) in a bucket and give it to the mother grub. Bam, out comes a baby. While buckets are normal in human culture in troll culture it is almost pornographic.
