Reminded me of this old poem I wrote... and the sad, eerie serenity of it fit Wren's personalty well.
I also took this with the new lens, my 28-75mm f/2.8 I LIKE IT!

Hold Me-
Sometimes I'll lay upon the earth to feel gravity's pull. The soft cool damp ground beneath me. The smell of the grasses and dirt perfuming my nose. The distant sounds gain volume. The birds singing, water flowing in the distance, wind gently blowing through the leafs on the trees, the annoying sounds of cars passing by. As I close my eyes the gravity increases with a feeling of being held rather than pulled. The sounds of life loose their volume. I feel shrouded in the darkness. I feel the depths under me. I am comforted.

The headband is just a piece of fabric wrapped around his head.

They always look so real ;w; especially in this one how the one blade of grass covers the lil slit where the wrist and arm join. XD makes it look more real.

It took me a good 10 minutes to position the grass... pull it out, flatten it, move it over, fluff it up... so tedious. XD

Thanks! I really like this shot too. I love dolls in grass shots, but is hard to get one that's different. Like to me, this one is a bit generic compared to "Grounded," with Yossarian. I like it all the same, though. XD
