The bright side (Simpsons) of the dark side (Ruby Gloom). I just wanted to show you how I drew them so far for my Simpsons/Ruby Gloom crossover comic coming soon (maybe). I'm not a fan of Ruby Gloom, but I'm a big fan of The Simpsons. I've spend most of the night working on it, so I've decided to take a break and let Homer explain characters of Ruby Gloom to those who don't know them."Hello viewers, Homer Simpson here, you guys already know who we are, so I'll try to explain the cast of Ruby Gloom."
Ruby Gloom: "The one with the red hair. Little miss sunshine
is the happiest girl in the world. She's so
damn cute when she smiles. Awww."
Doom Kitty: "Ruby's cute little cat. She's very playful and
likes to play charades unlike my cat (squints at
Snowball II) who doesn't do a damn thing for
fun. I'm not good a charades, are you?"
Iris: "Yeah the girl with one eye. That cyclops loves to go on
adventures and do stunts. That girl is hyper as hell, is
she high on caffeine or somethin'?"
Skull Boy: "The skeleton guy. He likes creativity, such as art,
inventions, cooking, etc, etc Hmm....he may come
in handy."
Misery: "That poor unlucky girl who is a walking disaster.
Yeah, the one with grey-ish skin, big head, big
black eyes and wears that uh...purple dress. She
freaks me out when she frowns. Would someone
please cheer this girl up?"
Frank and Len: "Two-headed boys who loves rock n' roll.
The blue guy is Frank and the green guy is
Len."
Poe: "Oh yeah, the crow who's interested in culture,
literature, blah blah, blah."
Scaredy Bat: "That's a damn good name for a bat who's
afraid of many things, can't fly, and has an
Indian accent. He makes other bats look
pathetic."
Mr. Buns: A black sock rabbit created by Ruby. It's creepy
when it looks at you like that, yet so cute. It
doesn't do anything......... yet.

No, are you? Why are you telling me that? Do you hate Ruby Gloom? I'm not a big Ruby Gloom fan, but I think that goth show is pretty funny and cute. So what if it's a little kids cartoon show, I don't care. I've done it as my little project a while ago to see how it turns out.

No I am not, I just assumed by your tone of voice and your work that you were. I am not a fan of the show, but if drawing it makes you happy, then I will not stop you. I have no authority over you. But just a tip - (if your not young-un) your work reflects a persons age. I have no problems with "The Simpsons." They are utterly great for all ages.

Haha no your fine, you do draw well though. Keep up the good work. Ima go back to my own little Simpsons world. I'm obsessed with them right now. I never watched Ruby Gloom, I am 16, but you know, if I get bored I'll maybe take a peek at it and it may change my mind. After all when I was about 9 i did watch my little pony.

Yep, and I have more Simpsons/Ruby Gloom images in my gallery. As for Scaredy Bat, all of it was based on Homer's explanation, not mine. I should put it in more detail. I have nothing against Scaredy and yes he's cute.

In Russia Simpsons more similar as "F**king Dark side"
On 2x2 (Russian channel) Ruby Gloom was at 14.30, but now 2x2 Channel prefer to stuff in that time one more "Simpsons" episode, and Ruby Gloom had taken down...

Maybe Ruby Gloom didn't grab enough ratings to keep it on the air compared to The Simpsons, so either it's canceled or moved to a different time. I guess The Simpsons are taking over, since they're so funny and popular to the fans around your area.
