This small booklet (less than ten pages) was created for my sister's history timeline. She said she was bored with scroll idea, as she had done that on the last one, and could I make a simple book for it. I said yes, but of course I can't resist adding some embellishments. There you have it.Time: 3 hours
Materials: Tooled leather, copper sheet, antique stain.

cool! Tell me ...is your sister in grade 8? I ask this because I had to make a time line too last year... Only I just made a elaborate bordered scroll with illuminated letters...Yours is so much more authentic!

I think she's in ninth grade or something, it was a world history, or something along those lines, thus the timeline idea. She did a scroll for the first one they had to do, and didn't want to do a second one, and since this part went through the advent of printing presses and such, a book seemed a good fit.
