Dare to be stupid!
I think they should have it that an Allspark fragment landed in a junkyard, and brought the scrapped cars to life as the Junkions. They rescue Wreck-Gar and make him their leader. Megatron tries to trick them into joining the decepticons. When the autobots find them, they are attacked(G1 Movie Style), but Wreck-Gar stops them from hurting them anymore. Of course, they'd have to talk TV.
