Here’s one of the four colored in set pieces for my completed picture.The all important background is next. To do that, we had to watch those famous Sonic CD cutscenes several times over in order to try and re-create the color in that environment. It’s the first intricate background we’ve done in a while and I have to say it came out pretty good. I hear “Sonic Boom” playing every time I look at this piece.

I really love the amount of detail you've put into this background and I'm guessing it took you awhile to make especially since you were trying to recreate the CD feel xD I must say you've done an amazing job on it xD

I really like how it came out, but to be honest, I threw this thing together at the 11th hour for that Sonic CD contest that SEGA was holding a while back.
I wish I had started sooner so I could have had more time with this one, but it did win me a soundtrack and a free download of the game, so I can't complain to much.

I think I remember that contest! I was gonna enter but I didn't have the artist skills for it
