This image is both eerie and captivating at the same time. The lines are strong and confident making the overall composition even more visually striking when viewed larger. Excellent play of lighting in the highlights and shadows, with the selected glowing portions of the body. The colors work well with each other without being overbearing. The pose and hair manages to add an extra element of motion while maintaining the illusion that this creature is underwater.
If I had to find one quark, it seems like the lower abdomen is missing its other half, although that could just be because of the particular perspective being used.
