Now I kinda broke my own rule on this and also didn'tphotograph a part...you can go back in my gallery and see the Green Lantern step by step I did to fill in the gaps.
Step 2: is... Light box your drawing onto some bristol board
any kind other than smooth. Here you can and should use
a Tech pen with a medium hard lead.
when you are finished doing that...Whip out your....
"PRISMA MARKERS".
Cool gray and Warm grays only at this point.
Add all the shadows accordingly...
The best way to do this for people who are just starting
out is...do the shadows first on a separate paper
then use them as a guide under your final using the lightbox..

The marker will streak and you will not be able to work over them.
