I love Katie's expression in this! Of course, the persona of the transformed Hulk is fairly child-like in many ways, so he'd get on well with a child, wouldn't he?

Compositionally is has that nice "elevated" feel to it that puts me in mind of Alex Ross' stuff.
The colour choices are excellent.
I noticed you used a few Photoshop effects for this one, which is fine- but the smoothness of the background colour transition does a small disservice (imo) to the "humanness" of the marker technique.
Smiling Hulk? You pulled it off VERY well...

My original has a real painted BG like a JC Leyendecker
type feel..It was abit to artsy for the final..so
I had my friend take it out and do the computer thing.
It works for the comic thing....when reproduced
and sized down.
Hopefully you will like the next one a little better.
