I'm aliiiive~!PLEASE fullview. And download for even bigger size lol.
I'm going to try to make this as spoiler-free as I can.
From left to right: Fanchon, Dee, Wynne. Three characters from the book 'A Spell For Chameleon' by Piers Anthony. He has an odd way of writing, but I fell in love with it... and the characters.
The chameleon is an important symbol in this book! But you don't find out why until the end, so I'm not telling! X:
I'm not sure why it looks so slanted. Probably because I had to scan it in two parts.
Watercolor pencils on watercolor paper. I had SO much fun with this!
...And because apparently I can't go a deviation without mentioning =Rtalon235 , I want to thank him for introducing me to this author.

Never heard of the book, but the picture looks awesome anyways ^^. I especially like the tree bark. It looks EXCELLENT. At least... I'm praying it's bark. Cause ya know... trees are a touchy subject when it comes to painting bark lol.

Oh crap lmao. I see it now. What I seen as cracks in bark, were actually the individual trees. Excellent

Are you kidding? That was one of my favorite parts in the whole book! Especially right after the trial, and Bink's terror when Wynne turned out to be his guide, not to mention how many times he had to talk her out of paying him.

I'll read the other books eventually. I've been forgetting to request the 2nd at the library (might as well get the 2nd and 3rd at the same time.. lol. I read Spell in like a day).
