Calvin "Cal" ( left ) is a student in the graphic design program at Grandsville University, who's roommate Mortimer "Mo" ( right ) attends the culinary program. The two get along remarkably well all things considered, and have developed a strong platonic relationship over the last few quarters.

Despite being a graphic design student, Cal is fairly active and enjoys playing sports on his days off. Unlike his roommate he can't cook at all, making him all the more grateful for Mo's constant baking. Though a little hard to approach ( partially due to his tall stature and solid build), Cal is a laid-back student who's constantly cheerful and ready for an adventure. He's probably best known around campus as "that guy who wears pink pants."

Mo is a second year culinary student who spends most of his time experimenting with his craft and studying. Some of his innovation regarding food prep comes from the constant encouragement of his culinary arts professor. Mo often accompanies Cal on his outdoor activities despite his strong dislike of sports, usually just so that he can provide Cal with food and drink after a long day of playing. Because Mo's imaginative cooking takes up much of his time and effort, he usually tests his concoctions out on Cal, who's sweet tooth has very few limits.
