I find this one particularly funny because well...I am a 98lb tiny potato and my boyfriend is a 300lb cutiepatootie and I have been learning to sew (on a machine u3u). He is obsessed with wearing vests (like...the fluffy fleece kind lol) and he wanted me to make him a Steven Universe themed one.Β
Anyway, I told him I have to measure him and well... much like Ilene here, I got a little....mmmmm distracted by the fats >.>

Reminds me of when I was dating a really big guy. Β Sometimes I'd hug him just so I could feel how soft he was, and if we were lounging around on the sofa, watching TV, I was almost always draped over him or snuggled up against him. Β The strange part of this is that I'm autistic, and I am usually very self-contained, not one for touching other people or being touched by other people. Β I rarely show affection physically. Β With him, though, I was a very huggy, touchy, tactile, physically demonstrative girlfriend.
Unfortunately, I had to move a long way away to go to university, and he didn't have access to a car or available cash to take the train to come see me, and I wasn't home much. Β The long-distance bills were too high for us to talk much too, and the relationship died of distance and attrition. Β 20 years later, I still think of him, dream about him, and wonder how he is now. Β

Funfact from someone who sews for a living: sometimes people outgrow the standard tailor's measuring tape. I keep a double-long quilter's tape on hand for the occasions when I'm working with someone bigger. Based on Xavier's proportions, guess which size of tape Ilene needs?
