Bio: Apollo somewhat ironically becomes a Feliray after a major lesson in how-NOT-to-blackmail. Humbled, he picks his battles more wisely, and tries to make his bargains with a more mutual advantage from then on out. Of his small group of friends, he is the one who most realizes the importance of forging better, stronger ties with the rest of Team Ken, especially as their goals and values grow more and more aligned (and his group gains a precious, vulnerable hybrid bab), and slowly pulls the rift that had formed with the main faction of Team One closed. Or at least, more closed than it was before.

As a result of his efforts, he becomes a much bigger player in where/what/why/how Team Ken operates, a frequent consultant of Jaqen. This is not to say his decisions are always, 100% correct, especially in the case of Howl, whom he tries his utmost to thwart the evolutionary path of for a while. Which backfires spectacularly when it appears to drive the other Recalt straight into the arms of a less-than-stellar influence.

After playing some ring-around-the-suspicion-revolving-door with Howl, then ring-around-the-cripplingly-jealous-revolving-door with Howl, and finally the ring-around-the-kinda-admiration-omg?-revolving-door with Howl, Apollo eventually reaches an understanding with the Viranther, and the two become good friends, the Feliray frequently staying up late so they can be science nerds together. It is on one such late night invention session that the two discover something a little bit more dangerous than the explosive they were making, and set off to fix a thing gone horribly wrong.
