I haven't done a German Shepherd skeleton before, but mostly I'd think it's in the skull's shape, and the length/proportions of how long the legs are compared to the body, the deepness of the chest, etc. Same way a German Shepherd is different from a Wolf or Husky, or any other breed. I took the pose from a DK book, here's the link to the picture: [link] It looks like the German Shepherd has a longer body, but I could be wrong.
