If you have any other suggestions for fakemon, be it a creature, one with funny mechanics, or so forth, feel free to leave them in the comments below
Viable moves: Ice Shard, Shadow Sneak, Earthquake, Earth power, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Ice Fang, Icicle Crash, Shadow Ball, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Iron Head, Iron Defense, Amnesia, Rock Polish, Stealth Rocks, Spikes, Will-o-wisp, Toxic, Substitute, Protect, Pain Split, Destiny Bond
Evolution Method: Near Death Experience - At level 30 or higher, the player must have 5 fainted pokemon in their party.
Notes: With these pokemon, I realized that a triple typing was possible, and not just by slapping on a third typing. Moves in the current Pokemon games, Forest's Curse and Trick-or-Treat, have the ability to add grass/ ghost typing. In the case of dual type pokemon, yes, this would make that pokemon Triple Typed.
What haunted does is take advantage of this mechanic by automatically adding it to the pokemon on switch in. Even if it's ability is swapped out, worry seeded to acquire insomnia, or simple beamed, these two will remain ghost typed.
Now, I didn't just pull ice/ground/ghost typing out of my bum. At first I was trying to make a typing with no weakness, also keeping in mind the possibility of Forest's Curse making grass the third typing rather than ghost. I tried combination after combination, but was never fully satisfied. However, I realized something.
Rather than have a defensive typing, I could have an offensive. I took ground which super effectively hits 5 types (Poison, Rock, Steel, Fire, Electric) Ice which hits 4 (Grass, Dragon, Flying, Ground) and Ghost (Ghost, Psychic). The best part about this offensive combination is that none of these typings super effectively overlap. For example fighting also had 5 super effective advantages like ground, but overlapped with it, so I would use ice instead. The weaknesses it can't cover super effectively are water and dark, but every other typing is free game.
This amount of super effective stabs would also pair up nicely with an expert belt or possibly a life orb.
As a defensive typing, ground/ice/ghost has a few strong points. Weaknesses: fire, water, grass, dark, ghost, and steel
Resists: Bug, Poison (x2)
Immunities: Normal, Fighting, Electric. Electric immunity also means a resistance against paralysis, always a plus.
Ground/Ice/Ghost also provides it with a very mixed move pool, to make use of it's mixed stats. With Ground being Mostly physical, Ice being mostly special, and Ghost being rather split up, it can make the best of many move sets, which makes up for having access to one ability only.
