Nice design, nice photography.
I always found it interesting that, when you talk to ideologues of any sort, the media is always the bad guy. Conservatives prattle on about the "mainstream media" (thereby implying that conservative media is "underground") and how it's corrupting and indoctrinating the people who watch it, and liberals go on about the lies and whatnot of the generic talking heads, but from the opposite perspective. Public education gets the same treatment. There's a pretty good Rage Against the Machine song in which de la Rocha rages against the schools for misrepresenting history and presenting America and the West in general as being morally infallible. In stark contrast, my own staunchly conservative father constantly raves about how public school history classes undermine values and what he views as healthy patriotism and unfairly present America and the West as the bad guys in most situations. My opinion? Both de la Rocha and my father have simplistic, one-sided views on the issue.
Though I'd agree, but perhaps not to the extent or for the reason's you'd like, that America is a joke. Everything's a joke.
(Apologies for the long treatise, but this sort of art means to generate discussion, so I discussed.)
