I appreciate how much time rendering all the grass
took. That dedication paid off and sells the piece for me. !Perfecto!

Thanks... but in fact I ended up very dissatisfied with this one. Almost everything in this drawing is not what I had in mind... except the rocks.

I understand. I find not being able to recreate what I see in my mind is frustrating. I push myself to one day achieve that as well.
I always ask of all who visit if they would be hard on me. To critique my work so I can Improve. You have skills, it would be a great help to me if you could offer advice. If you have time, of course.

The pose of the giant recalls Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" from the Sistine Chapel...Beautiful work!

Yeah, I agree with the above comments--it's amazing that you manage to keep your drawings so crisp and clean, even with the blending tool.

You're right... I didn't notice that, hehe, I guess I didn't have a "creation" in mind . Anyway, I used a photo of myself as a reference for that character.

Thanks for your coment

I just try to be careful. I usually use fumino pencils to blur the graphite pencil (this thing [link] , I dont know how are they called in english), and I also use a piece of paper or something between my hand and the paper in wich I'm drawing, to not smudge my work.

The sice of that drawing is about 60 x 35 cm.

(sorry for my poor english)

yes, we have those here in israel as well. (i don't know what they're called though, either, lol)
and well, i do try to be careful, and even put paper under my arm as well - but to no avail. oh well, practice makes perfect i guess.
thanks for the reply
