Description
This began as a thought about how we as a culture are becoming more automatic in our responses to life. How we can easily forget how to truly be alive.The image itself doesn't carry that much weight or depth, but It's built off the idea.

Nicht sehr gut. In reality I only know a few handfuls of basic Deutsch words (such as animals and common nouns/phrases, etc) and I don't really know how to spell any of them, and I know next to nothing of the grammer 
I took some Deutsch classes in Highschool, and my wife was a Deutsch minor in college and has traveled to Deutschland twice to participate in language programs (first in Tubengen(sp?) and then very recently in Dusseldorf).
If I'm listening to people speaking Deutsch I can usually figure out the basics of what they're talking about. That's about it.

German is a difficult language, much more difficult than english, so that's okay - most Germans speak English, so that's no problem

I love German as a language... it's so logical how y'all combine words. I don't the spelling, but German for turtle if translated literally is "Shield crawler" To me, that is brilliant! (^_^)

I instantly got the emotive side of the image and asked myself how much of my day to day is robotic and how much am I truly doing the things I want to remember. I adore this image for that! Very well done!

I'm glad to hear that. Much of my work has very little thought behind it. So on the rare occurrences when it does, I'm glad when people are able to pick up on it.
