Don't hold your breath. SuckerPunch isn't making Sly 4. The guys who made the HD port to of the Sly collection is making it. And the only things they've made are crappy games.

I was referring to the Shrek series. Since before Panda 2 that's what the Dreamworks sequel reputation was based on.

Shrek 2 was actually the best one out of the 4. Just because they George Lucas'd the Shrek series doesn't mean Madagascar 2 and Kung Fu Panda 2 were bad. Because they weren't. They were good.

Well my opinion on most Dreamworks movies differs a lot so I'll respect your opinion and won't push the subject.
The point is Sly which is a great series that made SuckerPunch's name big is being handed off to developers that don't have a good reputation for games.

Indeed. Nintendo wins E3 again. By the way, did they say anything about Cave Story 3DS while they were there, or did they not make a big deal about it because it's already announced? I'm not sure.

I really didn't get to see that much E3 stuff this year, so I wouldn't know anything about Cave Story 3DS. As for Sly 4, I might rent it when it comes out.

Well, Cave Story 3DS was announced a while back, and looking it up it just had a short showcase on the group of third party 3DS games. I know I'm definitely buying Sly 4. It's one of my favorites, and if I hadn't sold my old copy of the first one, it'd be the only game series I own every game of (I have the original PS2 versions of Sly 2 and Sly 3, and the collection).

I saw. Not surprised, it doesn't need much hype since it's coming out really soon anyway. From the gameplay reel it looks like the kept the engine exactly the same, which is good. I like how Nicalis and Nintendo don't touch the physics/level/weapon/boss mechanic design of Cave Story. It's perfect already.
