I just remembered reading that the reason investigations 2 wasn't localized was that the first game wasn't doing so well out here in the states

LOL XD *sigh* in all honesty, our best hope for this game now is waiting for the translating to be done ^^ to be honest, I would've helped more in trying to promote this game, but the stupid lack of Ads are more or less to blame; I didn't even know this game existed until over a month ago X/! (though am happy it exists; I always told myself they should've made a spinoff of Phoenix Wright at some point and that's when my curiosity got me on the internet to check up the possibility ^^)

its currently being worked on aside from that I really dont have anymore info then that, all we can do is pray that the translation team works quickly and gives us heads ups about the status. hopefully this wont be as long as the mother 3 translation

that's depressing that it wont be localized, but not surprising giving the predicament the US and Europe find themselves in, not to mention there is always worry with every game. (part of the problem is they never advertise). The biggest bummer though isnt just that it isnt being sent out of japan, it's that it paints a grim future for the series later on.
If we are lucky the sales of PF vs PW will change there mind if it does well enough, which im sure it will do quite well since fans have been crying for it for a long time.
