What i mentioned has no Meaning to the Fight-System of a single Game ;3
But i happily discuss a little with you about that, if you like :3
Yes, i remember. But i remember too, that the Fight-System of Pokemon was very uncomplete and therefore, unfair 
Because: Psi-Pokemons were practically invincible - at last Mew and Mewtwo.
" Insects " should have the Advantage against Psi-Pokemon, but what was that?
Every Insect is at last half a Poison-Pokemon, only in Order to make it easy beatable for Psi-Pokemon? x3
( The same was with Ghosts )
And the only Insect-Pokemon ( Sichlor/Sicklor, or something like that Name ) who was an Insect and half a Fly/Bird-Type maybe, could not learn the only Insect-Attack in the whole Game xD
( And the Attack was not even "strong", to Addition ^^ )
Well, i guess this was because Japanese People that Time had a baaad Thing with Psi-Characters and these ones have to be invincible :3
But Pokemon was a nice Game to play anyway

Why should insects have an advantage against Psychic Pokemon?
Also, Mewtwo was supposed to be as powerful as he was because he was genetically engineered to be the strongest Pokemon. Plain and simple.

I don't know why they should. It was just that they "had". But o LOL - you see? Because it was make to such a "nothing-Adantage", People didn't even notice that Insect-Pokemon have a Damage-Advantage against Psi-Pokemon.
Nobody noticed because:
A.) Insect-Pokemons were all Weaklings xD and nobody really wanted on in his/her Team.
B.) They were most all of them at last "half Poison" so Psi-Pokemon could all finish them off with one Psi-Attack,
and C.) the only one Insect-Pokemon in the Game with NO half Poison Nature in it and who had middle-Strong Attackpower, could not learn the only, weak- til halfstrong Insect-Attack xD
All only for the Sake to make Psi-Pokemons the invincible Kings of the Game xD
And yes, Mewtwo was supposed to be a God among Mortals. He "is" the strongest in the Game aside Mew,
and in the Film he is so overpowered that he could destroy the whole World "One against all" xD

Great picture. It makes perfect sense even though we know that Lucario's also part of the problem. I'd love to see someone blame Jigglypuff becuase honestly I think they should have cut her and kept Mewtwo.

I think it's because Luario never met the orginal trainer. If he had, he might have joined with Mewtwo. Aside from that, Mewtwo handled the situation better than I thought. I mean there are a lot of worse things he could have done.

I mastered Mewtwo and made him a formidable opponent in Melee

That's one of the good reasons...
The other reason I can think of is that Lucario is much more popular than Mewtwo so they replaced him...
I'm amazed Mewtwo isn't out for revenge and controls Lucario's mind as his slave for revenge...
