eh. looks the same. being renamed doesn't seem to change the motion the body follows. look at plenty of ryu, ken or akuma doing shoryuken and they look just like this

Ryu, Ken and Akuma use their right to do the Shoryuken, Ryo uses his left.
Ryo is really nothing like a Street Fighter Shoto character though.

doesn't matter whether it's left or right. the move is still the same. kinda like everyone knows the beam sword in smash brothers or mortal kombat is renamed doesn't change what it is. though his other moves might not be the same. i'll give him that. but this move is still a shoryuken or finishes in one from a combo

See, here's the thing. In every 2D fighter, there are "Shoryuken" type moves. But may be executed the same, and even look the same, but the fact is, they don't always work the same or are used in the same way. That's like thinking all fireballs are the same, they aren't.

yeah. that's probably true. though i'm basing this primarily on the look in this image. but no matter. when it gets down to it, the main point is the pic looks great.
