Originally from the Parmina Kingdom. Iris was taught sword fighting from her grandfather whom was non other than Lorand, a renown sword master. From an early age she has shown to be a prodigy with the sword. After her grandfather left on his journey, she set off to find him to prove that she still has much to learn from his teachings.
Traveling to find her grandfather, Iris came across the god of fire and was bested in a duel to the death. Before the last blow was dealt to her, a mysterious goddess with colorful hair stepped in to intervene causing the flame of the fire god to imbue itself with Iris enabling her to shape it at her will.

In the story of the game they fought "gods" it was one of those "gods" not Vargas or Lava

I have a theory: "The gods" that are always referred to as if they're common entities are simply that: the units that are designated as gods ([Noun] God/dess [Name]). That explains why there are so many duplicates of the same guys.

Would be both sad and hilarious if the gods that they had so much trouble against were those metal gods
