The detailing is already looking amazing - you must have infinite patience!

my limit at the moment per painting is about 2-3 hours. That's all I'll spend on each painting in one sitting, I start getting bored after that and need to move on to something different so definitely not infinite patience

So how many different projects do you have on the go at once? I tend to have only 2 or 3 at any time, and one of those always seems to motivate me more than the rest, which leads to loss of interest in the others. You seem to always have the determination to deliver a consistent quality of product - this I admire!

At the moment I only have 2 on the go, but I'll be starting a third as soon as I figure out what I want to do with it.
It just depends what I'm painting for, before my exhibition in April I was working on about 5 or 6 at a time.
I do understand what you mean, I usually have a favourite to work one, but I just make myself work on the others as well because I know if I put it off I'll lose interest in it.
Like at the moment I'm enjoying the commission of the sleeping child more then this one, so I'll work on this one for the first half of the day, then end the day working on the one I'm more excited about.
