Not sure if that makes sense for anyone except for myself,
but the realism in this is so strong, that it doesn't even look creepy anymore!
The only "distraction" for my eye (and my mind) is that ...bright spot in her upper back...where the blue butterfly sits.
That looks disturbing.
And I could very well imagine that this is intended

I think you perfectly matched your intention here.
And the light on her back is just perfect, as every other detail here.
Except for that small element that I tried to explain. The longer I look at that spot (or stain), the more I have the impression it could be a mistake in the file coming from the compression in the gallery.
Or it is a detail that I just don't understand.
If you would allow me to download the picture I could mark the area that I tried to describe, to make sure we are talking about the same

Thank you for coming back to this and for the complete painting.
It is this particular area under the blue butterfly, with the bright spot in the blue "circle" that I made around it, that my eyes and mind just don't understand:

Oh haha, thatβs the other wing of the blue butterfly seen from a near above angle. Their wings are a pale silver on one side and bright blue the other side, maybe I should refine it some more to make it more obvious that itβs the butterfly

Oh my!
The moment you say it I see it!
And now it's so obvious!
Thanks a lot for releasing me of that confusion!
