That's interesting Mike. Would love to get to South Africa one day. We also share lots of plants. SO many plants people here call 'natives' are actually South African
Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Where about is that?
It reminds me of the coast near the Otways.

BronnyO,
Digital. What a world we live in.
I am an astroimager, as you may have seen. I have so much respect for the folks who used to (and some who still continue to) use film for astrophotography. It's insane.

H

I presume you have a digital camera attached to a telescope. Where do you go to get your images? Blue Mountains? You certainly wouldn't get such clear skies in Sydney!
I have a friend who is into stars and has moved to Bendigo from Melbourne. He and his 10 inch telescope are having a great time!

BronnyO,
Yes, my Canon EOS-350D attaches to the rear cell of the telescope via a T-ring and T-mount.
I go to Kulnura to take my images, which is an hour and-a-half north of Sydney. In fact, I'm going on Saturday as it is the new Moon, as per my previous journal entry. I can't wait.

H

Thanks for the fav. I don't know a lot about the different forms of igneous rocks and what causes the blue colour, but it was really that colour.
