Β A REAL screenshot of me wearing RUBY ARMOR!!!How to find it:
1: Dig at least 103 blocks down at the spawn point in your world.
2: Dig 42 blocks infront of you.
3: Dig 12 blocks to the left.
Once you've done that the you might find some ruby ores!(There's a 14 out of 120 chance of it to spawn.)

Ruby ore did exist in the game once but it was changed to Emerald before official release of the update because one of the workers of Mojang was colorblind so he couldn't tell Redstone and Emerald apart. This looks like a retexture/mod but Ruby Ore did exist once.

Nope.I do have some texture packs but I rarely ever use them.And I don't use mods anymore.

Still, ruby ore isn't in the files, you can find the texture for the gem itself in Minecrafts files but no ore, weapons/tools, or armor. I just looked. :3
