Description

Lords ordered from top left to bottom right. Also big thanks to LoverOfGames for helping write this and for his characters.

Castigar Collan (adopted, true last name unknown): A relatively young lord in his mid thirties, his features are relatively plain with brown hair and an unkempt stubble growing into a beard. Ruling over the smallest province in Regnum-the Crags-his lot is not an easy one as the Crags require constant management and negotiation with other provinces to avoid famine or to ensure the roads are clear in the mountains. Despite his lack of training-having to take the position suddenly when his adopted father passed away-he has stepped up to the task admirably, keeping his people safe and the local tribes in line. In spite of these trials he remains friendly and open to all-easily talking with even peasants and beggars as equals. He utilizes a greatsword and heavy plate armor in combat-and is never seen without his necklace.

Santigar Ananthur: One of the oldest lords in Regnum at his late sixties, Santigar is one of the most stoic and dour men in the province - and with good reason. Having lost his entire family to a tragic boating accident and residing over the Stormlands-the single harshest land in Regnum aside from the Glashire Death Fields-has hardened this man into a being as cold and harsh as stone - and with a core of tempered steel. He maintains some grooming over his facial hair-and the beard combined with the numerous scars gives him a rather intimidating aura. Especially when he focuses his attention on a single person. Santigar, when fighting, is clad in heavy plate armor-second only to Gram-and is armed with a round shield and a heavy one handed battleaxe. He is the single strongest Lord in Regnum as well, capable of carving through thick plate with his axe with ease and smashing stone with his fists. The man is both an economic and military genius, with a specialty in assault tactics and heavy, grinding wars where blitzs cannot end them quickly enough. He can take near any fortress or city, and his men are unstoppable on the offense.

Gram Tharmin: The biggest Lord in Regnum, Gram's stern visage and multitudes of scars make him an imposing sight. He is bald and has been for many years, having ruled over Iskvalbard for nigh on forty years after having taken power at the age of twenty when his predecessor died. His province being always first in the way whenever some new horror from the north approaches, he has grown understandably dour and stoic. Clad in the heaviest plate armor, wielding a massive tower shield and a mace that ten men couldn't lift, he has earned his title of the Tower Knight as he is an immovable force upon the battlefield. But when he falls into the Black Rage, defence is forsaken in favor of offence as he becomes a hurricane of destruction. He is Regnum's most enduring Lord-capable of enduring punishment that would kill lesser men outright. The man is a master of economics-he had to be, to keep his province fed in the bitter cold but where he truly shines is when on the defence. He is Regnum's single best tactician when it comes to defending, whether it is a castle, a city, or a position on the field.

Tunar Melkus: One of the oldest lords in Regnum at his late sixties, Tunar is particularly stern and holds high expectations of those he meets. Balding with grey hair, the man has avoided the fates of some of his peers to become scarred by simply being one of the single best swordsmen Regnum has ever produced-masterfully wielding shield and sword while clad in light, blood red plate armor. He is Regnum's fastest lord in combat-when he assaults his enemies often he begins to blur out of vision as he launches dozens of blows in a matter of seconds. He rules over Rudaur, a province renowned for it's cavalry and Tunar himself is the best rider Regnum as seen-capable of taming near any beast and riding even the most unruly of mounts. He has seen many trials over the years, and the loss of his wife to illness made him even colder and harder than he was before. His two sons being less than stellar did not help in this regard. The man himself is a genius when it comes to both warfare and economics although in the latter he falls short to Janis. He is an unparalleled master of shock tactics and blitz strategies, leveraging his cavalry forces to maximum effect.

Gavin Orthrung: One of the older lords in Regnum at his late fifties, Gavin is quite different from most of the lords near his area in that he is quite spirited and lively-a holdover from his past. Unlike most Gavin was peasant born-his family grew up in a village near the edges of the Grey Forest like many others. Losing his mother, father, and six of seven siblings to illness, cold, and starvation would have left many despondent but Gavin was simply determined to change his province. And change it he did, taking power through sheer skill, guile, and trickery when his bow arm and military accomplishments failed him. Gavin is a master archer-the best Regnum has ever produced, and has a sadistic streak to match as he hunts outlaws and criminals through the forests. He is also blessed by a rather strong vital spirit as his hair remains dark brown despite his growing age, a stubble serving to more enhance his features than detract. His one surviving sister holds position as a lady of the Court-now well educated and an excellent advisor, tempering her brothers often brash diplomatic behavior. The man himself is a fine economist but a master of guerrilla warfare - capable of tearing armies apart without taking a single loss in campaigns of harassment and attrition.

Janis Caurnus: A man who, while fairly old, has seemed to avoid aging physically his features are unnotable except for one feature: his eyes. The bald man has heterochromia, one eye being green and the other blue. He rules over Lamilorn, Regnum's richest province and one in which he had a significant hand in making as he is by far Regnum greatest economist and master of trade and finance. Whereas his counterpart Jorden was born into wealth and never left, Janis built up Lamilorn's grand treasuries through sheer effort and unrelenting determination. A genius in managing his province to the utmost prosperity and efficiency the man himself is unimposing and physically weak-however he possesses a core of steel regardless.

Santigar and Gavin look like they tossed on the first thing they saw, fashion be damned, before coming out of bed.

Which.....fits, given how little they care about their appearance.

Great work art, especially with Tunar and Janis-the only people dressed for the occasion.
