Seriously, lately I've been looking at deviant's comments to see if they would ever bother to reply because I think that not replying is horribly rude. I know they probably get lots of comments and favs, but even if they don't thank for favs, it's at least polite to reply to a deviant's comment that they took to write out for that person. Once there was this guy who's art I really admired, and I saw somebody else stole it on this other website. I wrote to the guy saying so, and he never even replied to THAT! Seriously, it's stupid to ignore art theft!! That's another reason to reply, because you might miss something important if you don't!!Related content

I agree, but only in the case of artists that do not have overflowing inboxes. If you have over 9,000 comments in your inbox, it's impossible to reply to all of them! But if you receive 2 comments a day, I don't see the point in not replying. (Unless you're offline, obviously.)

I really agree with this, I do understand if they're getting tidal waved with likes, favourites and comments and whatnot. That I understand, I mean who really has the time to reply to hundreds of comments being snowballed your way?.
But what I hate most is when you see alot of "underrated" artists for a lack of a better word, comments get ignored while they clearly reply to artists who are on their "level". It's just plain rude.

But I usually try my best to reply or perhaps thank via journal if it's too many ;v;

You know, popular deviants probably get hundreds of comments a day, they probably don't have time to reply to every single one.
Plus you can't expect them to always have something to say, when about half those comments say the exact same thing.

Going at it little by little helps, and there's this guy who has amazing art, but only gets about 9 comments, and doesn't even reply to THOSE. And if they can't reply to them all, they can do what does and disable them.

I can understand people that dont thank for favs but I went to one of the people DA account and they had maybe one comment and they wouldnt reply!! Once I was the only one to comment and they wont reply

I'm sorry but I agree with this!
I understand with not being able to thank all the people who fave it, but 90% of the time people fave without commenting. So really, you don't have THAT much to reply to! Plus it shows that your artwork must have been REALLY amazing if the person took their time to comment it, so why not take the time as well to reply to their kind words?
You can always be sure that I'll reply to EVERY comment I get. Even if sometimes it takes awhile, I ALWAYS reply.

I don't mind someone not replying to my
"Cute Art <3"
or what ever I write, but if I am asking a question, or somthing that needs a response, Its a bit annoying when people don't reply, unless its like "What program did you use?" and its in the art notes [even though I always read them]

Yeah, those kinds of things need responses (unless there ARE notes). If it's a "lol, you're welcome," or something like that, I won't reply anymore, but if it's the first comment, I try to find something to say.

I dunno, some people do have a good response for not responding to all the messages they get. I get 43987503985 "thanks for the fav's" in a day, i just put up a general "you're welcome", most of the time. Well, excdpt for the days where I actually have time to rifle through some of those feedback messages. :/
