I've not fully fleshed that out yet, but here's what I have in my head: Most Goddess Witches do a thing where the swallowee is put into a deep slumber while their souls are sent to the world of the Great Goddess and their bodies are digested normally. Presumably, they could cancel out their power if they wanted to be super-sadistic, for whatever reason.

Interesting, Iβm in this weird compromise in regards to that. I personally like it when the swallowee is conscious while in the stomach though the digestion itself is painless (or at least not excruciating)
