Indeed, I was always kind of hoping that they'd give it a next gen update, like put it on the DS or something. I've been meaning to draw Gaia from that game for some time lol.

Yeah, the closest thing nowadays is that Spore game (similar in concept in that you can evolve and choose how things evolve)... but it's still not the same!

Spore looked kind of neat, I messed around with creature creator but I heard the gameplay was somewhat lacking unfortunately.
