Commissioned byWell, literally it's only a 95% finished version. will recieve a fully finished one ;3
The designs on the background was inspired by a movie poster of Wolf Rain. Though the final effecgt turned out even better then the original inspirations. It did worth my time to do it, lol.
Again, digital mixed media. Lines and colors in Illustrator, shadings in Photoshop, and texture overlays in Painter.

This is a beautiful piece of work. To me it gives of an anime feel to it. Or a Japanese oriented one at least. The way everything is positioned gives the imppression that theres a story behind it. I really love the detail in it and the expressions on their faces. This work is dare I say... captivating. I'd kill to have something like this. In any case, great job.

It reminds me alot of the art done by Mucha... or something that should be on a tarot card. I've only caught maybe one episode of Wolf's rain so I really don't know what else to compair it too

When I first saw it, it reminded me of a playing card. The underlying and sometimes upside-down characters are interesting.
