But poor Adventure Time, they couldn't get to answer as many questions since everyone else was more interested in SU questions.
It's about time Adventure Time and Steven Universe were to have a panel together. I mean seriously, these shows have a lot in common, mostly in story elements, genre, and artstyle. Trust me, first reading this announcement made me think I was in a dream, but I wasn't. You people going to SDCC this year are so luckly, I tried getting in via the waiting room and they sold out within two hours! Who knows, maybe the get-together might be a possible hint for a crossover after the success of "Say Uncle", which if it is, then Pen finally came to his senses for a crossover. As for Regular Show's teamup with another show at their panel this year, you'd wished you had TAWOG's cast about right now because, trust me, even after "Say Uncle", UG is STILL not a good show in my opinion, even if I really enjoyed the crossover...

The fact they share panels doesn't have to mean they are doing crossovers. Let's see what they announce first and then we judge.

Actually, the episode is still considered not to be canon in the storyline. UG flat out says it's not canon in the episode and the crew confirmed it as well.

i did hear a rumor that adventure time and steven U are considering a crossover, and if it does happen, i can imagine a much darker storyline being used, since both shows do dabble in the darker areas of their lore on occasions.

Yeah, I can see an AT/SU crossover being much darker than Say Uncle. There's even a theory out there saying that the gems who fell in battle would become the gemstones of the princess crowns in Ooo after the Mushroom War.

that's exactly what i was thinking the crossover be about actually!
my thought for the plot was that peridot was building a portal back to homeworld, but the gems intervene, but a malfunction in the system sends steven and peridot across time into the land of Ooo, now the two must work together to get home. They encounter finn and jake and steven quicly befriends them. but things start getting bad when princess bublegum has her guards try and capture steven and peridot. Leading to the discovery that the royal crowns are powered by many gems, including the chrystal gems (like pb's crown is saphire, flame princess' turns out to be jasper)
now the two lost gems must save their kind from Ooo's royalty, leading finn to question which side is right, the one he knew before or the gems.
I was also thinking there may be a battle between finn and steven, and a possible new steven fusion
