Isabel struggled continuously, the shadow leering over her and the large fingers just inches from her small frame. She'd never get out in time, all there was to do was wait. She hung her head down as she felt the giant start to grab her.

"Leave it to those idiot people to try and give a child to whatever it is they sacrifice to." Mandy muttered as she waited for death to come knocking at her door. The village she was visiting was bursting with a frantic preparation of a 6 year old girl to sacrifice. She was disgusted with the entire practice in the first place. And when Mandy tried to save her, she was taken as a replacement because she would be a 'better offering.' So the village ladies played dress up with her. Dressing her in a revealing costume and tying her to this pole.
"At least that little girl will live to see another day." Mandy smiled and mentally patted herself on the back for it. A last good deed before death. How fitting.

(My character's name is Layne, and he's a rather small male of Germanic heritage. He has chin length black hair and blue, almost sapphire, colored eyes. His skin is pale and bruised all over. He also wears simple clothes made out of animal skins, but they're unfortunately are very tattered and seem more like rags.)
Frightened blue eyes stare up at the giant, his struggling ceasing and his breath hitching. He was frozen in fear. Was it true what the townspeople said? Would this giant really eat him? Or would the giant use him as some sort of slave, or plaything? Either fate sounded terrible, but he had no way of escaping the giant..

You are unable to back up or trip since you're tied to a large wooden pole with rope bind the wrists above your head and around your waist to the pole. But upon hearing your scream, the giant hand stops reaching for you. It retreats and sets down on the giant's bare lap as he sits with his legs folded underneath him. The giant is massive, 300 feet tall, and only wearing a loincloth which shows off his tan and lean body. He looks down at you with sad brown eyes. "Y-you th-think I'd h-hurt you? Wh-what did they t-tell you I'd do?"

I stopped at a moment. I look up at him feeling guiltily. "Wait. You're going to hurt me? I'm so sorry. I just got scared because you're so huge so massive. I'm so sorry about that. I don't even know where I am. I'm far away from home."

The giant hand stops when he hears you crying out. His brown eyes sadden just as they do every time he sees a person who fears he's some kind of monster. Tears creep from under his eyes and tumble down his cheeks. "Y-you're not g-going t-to die," the giant tells you with a voice quivering from depression. He reaches for the hilt of his blade attached to the belt of his loincloth. The loincloth is the only thing the giant is wearing, allowing you to see a fit and lean body from living alone and live off the forest for years. His skin is also tan from only wearing a loincloth for those years. The dagger's blade is longer than the pole and wider than the length of your entire body. But the dagger's blade isn't meant for you, it's meant for the rope. When you're free from the rope and the pole, the giant puts his blade back in the sheath and bows his head. "You're f-free to g-go." Tears drip down the tip of his nose and fall to the grass.

The giant lifts his head slightly to look down at the human. He expected the human to be already gone and for the voice to just be in his imagination, because no human has ever been willing to stay with him. They all believed him to be a monster, just because of how huge he is. "Y-you r-really want to s-st-stay with m-me? But wh-why?"

The giant stares down at you with complete disbelief. Here is a human-sized being willing to be his friend when all the others have seen him as a monster. Plus, it's a being with no where else to go, the perfect person to take as his friend. "I... I c-could really use a f-fr-friend too," the giant admits as he sniffs and wipes his eyes. "But are you sure you're willing to be friends with a three-hundred foot tall giant? Most of you human-sized beings think I'm some kind of monster."

Being that the giant is on one knee, the only things in reach are his right bare foot of his his left thigh which is vertical at the moment. His eyes widen in surprise when you get closer and end up hugging his bare thigh. He smiles, enjoying the feeling of another's touch. It's been far too long. Being very careful, he plucks you
Up and then places you against his bare chest in a hug. His giant hand is behind you, covering every part of your body below your shoulders. The skin of his chest is soft, but the muscle beneath is firm. Strands of black chest hairs are around you and you can hear the thumping of the massive heart deep inside which is beating rapidly out of joy.

The giant doesn't hear your comment and continues to hug you for some time. He enjoys the sensation a little more than he anticipated.
Eventually he pulls you away from his chest and places you on the open palm of his right hand. "Thank you. I hope I didn't frighten you. It's been years since I've had a hug. I really needed it. My name is Tim, by the way. Can I have the name of my new friend?"

"I believe I told you my name is Tim already, just before you told me your name is Senri," Tim informs you with a raised eyebrow as he walks through the forest. Everything in the forest, the trees and all the animals, are all giant sized!

"It's fine. You might have just forgotten in all this excitement, am I right?" Tim asks with a chuckle at the end of it. You can feel the laughter vibrating in his broad and bare chest.

The giant stops his hand for a long moment, because he is simply surprised that you've managed to escape the ropes without his help! But when he sees you running away, his depression stings his heart and snaps him out of his surprised. "No, wait, please don't run!" the giant cries out in desperation just before his places his hand down in front of you. His hand forms a fleshy wall that blocks your path.Ā

The giant is huge: 300 feet tall! He's crouching down on one knee and only wearing a fur loincloth, which means his skin is very tan. His body is also very fit and and lean from having t live off the forest for years. His hair is brown, long, and wild looking. But the thing that draws your attention more is his brown eyes which are glistening with tears and filled with concern for you! He wanted you to stop running, but he didn't mean for you to slam into his palm and maybe hurt yourself. "Are you alright? I'm so sorry if I hurt you. I didn't mean for that to happen. Please, I just want to talk." His voice is pleading, filled with sadness and desperation. Ā

His brown eyes become more saddened when he hears what you have to say. He knows all too well what it's like not to be wanted and truly feels for you. "I'm sorry that no one wants you, but why wouldn't anyone want you? As far as I can tell, you're very kind and pretty."

*at hearing his words, my eyes begin to soften and my anger and hate that I was feeling due to what the villagers did to me slowly is slowly going away* "Y-you actually care about me? wow....I never.....*I caught myself off before it got too corny and generic, and decided to answer is question about why I was here in the first place* "uh I mean the reason I am here is because my parents were killed when I was young.I had no one else to take care of me,No one wants a 13 year old ya know? They felt I was getting too old to be adopted, so here I am, and if you ask me, I feel like they just said that so they would have a reason to kill me and not feel too guilty about doing it.

"I very sorry to hear that," the giant say genuinely. "I've been alone since I was ten. My parents aren't dead, but I almost wish they had died instead." Anger fills the giant's eyes as he recalls the events that caused him to leave. "They disowned me for treating humans as equals. I've been here alone for four years. I guess that make me one year older than you." He regains his composure and smiles down at you. "My name is Tim and if you truly have no where to go, you could come with me. I'm sure we could both use the company."

Once you're safely seated in the center if his palm, Tim carefully stands up and lifts you level with his bare chest. He hopes he didn't lift you too fast, because what's slow to him could be fast for you. "Are you alright, Alexis?"

Tim continues walking through the giant forest with you against his chest. Eventually, he comes across a massive opening with a lake. Near the shore is a massive log cabin fit for the three-hundred foot tall giant. "Well, this is home."
