In a world with Neera and Nekos being the one sentient beings, Nekos are the dominant species. They treat Neera as lesser beings due to the major height difference and the difference in species. Neera are captured by nekos to be sold as food, pets, toys, slaves, or anything nekos wish to use them for. When they are discovered in a neko home, they are treated as pests and killed, captured and sold, or captured and used by the family in however they want. The neera that have to live in the wild have to stay in big groups when possible. They form tiny villages in the lesser populated area such as forests, but of course there is always the danger of wild animals and nekos discovering them. When they don't have a big group to protect themselves, they have no other choose but to sneak in the homes of nekos and scavenge to survive. If they are discovered, they have to move onto a different home, unless they are all captured and killed.
Mike has always lived with his family. They weren't a big enough group to live in the wild and had to live in the walls of neko homes. He used to have an Uncle, parents, and four younger siblings. Now, it is only him and his youngest sister. During one unfortunate nightly raid, a neko woke up in the middle of the night and discovered them. The teen neko immediately snatched up the twins and yelled to wake up others. Mike's father confronted to nekos to try and do something to save his children. The teenager ate Mike's father and soon after Mike's Uncle was captured as well. Mike was the only one to survive the raid, but their hole was discovered. The parent nekos used pesticides in the hole which killed Mike's mother and the baby. Mike and his sister where the only to escape the whole ordeal. He still has no idea what happened to the twins that were captured.
Now, Mike has to take care of his sister, going from house to house, hoping that they are never discovered again...

mike and his sister can live with me and neera are people too so it makes me sad when they are treated like snacks . i would live in the forest just so I could protect as many neeras as I can.my home shall become a safe haven for all neeras who are trying to survive and to any nekos who don't believe in killing neeras. when I mean ill protect that means I will do whatever I can do to rescue any neera including offering services for pests and eat them before another neko can get to them. oh and I forgot to mention that I can control my acids due to a experiment that was designed hold food in until a person tells their stomach to digest. the experiment was success, but I no longer had a human body just a human sized cat body instead. the good news I can still talk and like I said I'm ready to defend as many neeras as I can.

Hopefully they do encounter one that'll help them out at least. I mean, at least one who might see them as pets, but still treat them kindly.

I feel bad for him. I always hate how nekos treat neeras most of the time just because the neeras are smaller then them.

Nina is forced to stay behind in the mouse hole while Mike scavenges during the middle of the night. Nina is still not old enough to go on her first scavenging and he would not want to lose her like he did with the rest of the family.
Mike manages to get to the kitchen and climb onto the counter top when the kitchen light turns on! Agata has woken up to get a midnight snack. Mike it out in the open on the counter top!

Agata yawned as she turned on the lights to the kitchen to grab a quick snack,having been woken up by her her hungry belly only to then be surprised to spot a neera standing on top of her counter. She blinked a few times thinking it was her stomach playing tricks on her,but it really was a neera out in the open in her house. She gave the neera a friendly smile,showing both her cat like fangs as she walked over to him. "Oh what do we have here? I see I have myself a cute little guest in my house."

(Sure. There is a group of neko trying to fight for neera having equal rights called the ERN. So, it would make since for Francine to seek out other nekos that share her belief. Her and Agata can be friends.)
Mike doesn't see her smile as friendly. All he sees are her fangs, and believing that there is no such thing as a friendly neko, Mike only sees two options: stay put and die, or try to flee and hide. Mike doesn't hesitate. He runs for the grappling hook he used to get onto the counter top.

Agata see's he was going to make a run for it and quickly knocks the grappling hook down to the ground before he could use it,keeping him on the counter as she now toward over the neera. "Now,now. There's no need to go back into hiding my little cutey. I plan to not harm you."

"N-No! You're lying!" Mike turns and runs to hide behind something, anything on the counter.

*So far the only thing he could hide behind was a fake fruit boil. The neko giggles as the neera ran to the closes thing he could hide behind though she did understand why he was scared of her* "Awww is someone a little shy of the big kitty? You really don't need to hide from me little guy. I swear that you will not be harmed by me. I'm much different then any other neko. I swear."

He still doesn't come out from behind the fruit bowl. "And why should I trust you? Nekos are known to deceive. You giving me false hope could be how you play with your food. Nekos play with their food, do they not?"

*She sighs* "Yes we do indeed play with are food though I'm not being as harsh as to how most nekos toy with their food and I don't see you as food at all,but I'll give you sometime. In the mean time though are you hungry?"

"Well then." *She walks over to the fridge to then come back over to him,placing a bar of cheese next to where he was hiding* "You can have this."

He peeks out from behind the bowl and then ducks back behind it. "So you think just because I'm a neera, I must like cheese? That's a stereotype. I can't stand the smell of it and it tastes awful."

*She sweatdrops* "Oh sorry. I should have know that." *She takes the bar of cheese away to then replace it with a fresh strawberry* "How about this then?"

"Ok." *She did so,poking the strawberry with her index finger where he could see the large nail that was apart of it as the strawberry rolled over to him*

Once it's close enough, he rolls it behind the bowl with him and sniffs it for poisons, but detects none. He cautiously takes a bite.

The strawberry tasted sweet and juicy like any strawberry would as it was very fresh. "Well? Does it taste good?" Agata said hoping she could get him to trust her more.

"It... it's fine," he says, not wanting to admit that it's the best food he's tasted in a long time, due to eating crumbs and scraps for months. "Why are you helping me?" He still stays behind the bowl.

"Well....like I said before. I don't see you as food or mainly I don't see your kind as food. I know it must be hard to buy this,but I swear that I'm nothing like the nekos that eat your kind and I truly believe it's wrong for them to do such a thing just because were...different." She say's being as truthful as she can with every word she said.

While she speaks, he listens carefully to her words and the way she speaks them. At the same time, he takes out a thumbtack that he's using as a knife to cut pieces off the strawberry so that he can place the pieces in his pack for later food as well as for Nina. She sounds so truthful. I know nekos are supposed to be good deceivers, but can they possibly be this good? He isn't sure what to think anymore. "If you're telling the truth, than I'm sorry. But whole family was killed in one night by just a family of nekos. I lost everyone." He decides to not tell his about his younger sister in hopes that if the neko is being deceitful, she wouldn't know about Nina. "Some were eaten. Others died from pesticides." Tears blurry his vision as he remembers the gas acting as acid on his Mother and his baby brother not even a full year old yet. "Can you put my grappling hook back where it was?"

Hearing his story just made Agatas heart sink as it showed the true nature of how nekos truly treat neeras in life: only as pests and food. She couldn't help,but let her tears blur her eyes as it made her feel guilty of what she was as her heart sunk down to her gut. "I'm...so sorry for you lose. I...I truly understand why you could never trust a neko in life including me. After what you had to go through." She bends down to pick up his grappling hook and hook it to the end of the counter like it was before. "But...if you ever need food. You can always get it from here and I'll make sure to keep out of sight it you wan't." Her voice sounded sad for him as she spoke. She was truly sorry for what he had to go through and it seemed he might have made her feel like a monster.

Mike had already packed the food in his pack by the time she started talking, so when she did, he peeked out from behind the bowel and saw the neko's face. She... she meant every word of what she said. There is no way those tears are fake. He had never thought that a neko could ever feel so much compassion for a neera.
Mike sighs and dies something that no neera in their right mind would do in the prescence of a neko: he walks out from his hiding spot and walks over to her hand placed on the counter instead of the grappling hook!
He places his tiny hand on a single giant finger of her hand and pets the warm skin. "Please, don't cry."

Agata was shocked to see the neera walk over to her instead of the grappling hook as he placed his tiny hand on one of her giant fingers. She then realized he was trying to comfort her a bit as he saw her tears. She then wiped her face. "Crying? I'm not...crying. I...just have something in my eye is all." She said sounding a bit embarrassed for someone to see her cry. "But does this mean you trust me? Since you walked over here."

"Maybe I trust you a little bit," Mike admits. "But only because your seem truly sorry for what happened to my family. Maybe... maybe if you continue being nice to me and not eat me, I think it's possible that I could trust you." He can't believe the words that are coming out his mouth. Did he say that he could trust a neko?

Agata smiled seeing the one thing she denied to eat in life trust her a bit even though at this very moment a neko would most likely take this chance to swipe him up and eat him,but no not her. "Well I'm glade to see how much you already trust me now,but before you try to trust you a little more. I might as well tell you something. You seen even though I would never eat a neera in my life there are still times where I kinda have...a craving for one once in awhile. I know you probably think this might be a trick or this might get out of hand here,but It's just a faze I go through. So...I might ask once in a while to um...well maybe lick you or do mouth play." She sounded very nervous telling him this,fearing that he would run as soon as he heard though's words.

What she said does not sound all that pleaser to Mike. He backs away very slowly from her giant hand. "You... You have cravings to taste neera? But... But what if you can't control such cravings one time. That sounds... dangerous."

She sighs as her cat ears go flat over her head. "I know,but...,but I'm able to keep my stomach from digesting things and even if it does go out of hand you would still be safe. Plus I would quickly cough you back up before you even reached my stomach." She sighs again. "If this is to much for you to trust me then I understand and you can leave right away if you. I won't stop you."

(One of the reasons I dislike soft vore is because of the far-fetched reasons that eating someone won't kill them. The reasons I fell are the most ridiculous are: having control over one's stomach acids, having a second stomach, and people "magically" being immune to the digestion process.)
"How in the world can someone control their stomach? It's a stomach! It's only purpose is to digest things. How could you possibly be able to stop that process? Is this some sort of trick?" Mike starts to back away a few more steps on the counter top.

(I can understand how that's ridiculous though their are some things that can control their stomach acids,but you got me for my character being a neko. So should I just change how she can keep her stomach from digesting things? Like she uses a type of vile,potion or spell?)
