Location:Hoenn Empire; based on the Indian subcontinent, Nusingr’s universe is one that experienced more of an “Eastern” influence to its culture.
Personality:There are two sides of Nusingr. The first is the Royal Guard, who is very solemn, very quiet, and very focused. When he fights, he completely gives himself over to the flow of the battle. He’s often been told he fights like a man possessed. The other side of Nusingr is The Noble. Although his status as Guard officially removes him from his status as such, Nusingr still has the mindset of one when he is not on-duty, or is in the presence of those he does not feel the need to put on the Guard facade with. He is much more relaxed in these settings and generally easy enough to get along with.

It has been becoming harder for Nusingr to keep the two “faces” separate as of late.

Brief History:Nusingr was born in Mauville City to a family of a noble caste. He grew up near the Palace complex, and, as he shared some sort of distant relation that he never quite understood with the maharaja’s family, he spent a fair amount of time with his son, Razeen Ullah. As they grew older, they developed a very strong friendship. So strong, in fact, that once Razeen took over as maharaja upon his father’s death, he personally recommended Nusingr for training for the Guard, a situation that was previously unheard of (there is a special caste for warriors, and the King’s Guard almost exclusively comes from them).
The time that Nusingr’s journey begins is one of turmoil. Razeen has recently met an untimely death and has left no apparent heir, which has caused a rather large upheaval of the political structure of the Empire.
Misc: Nusingr’s preferred weapons are the talwar (his long, curved sword) and the katar (a punching blade that he uses with his non-dominant hand). He also carries a small shield with the katar that aids in deflecting and parrying blows. He is also capable in unarmed combat, although most of his practice in it comes from sparring with his Machamp, Vishal. He is dreadful at ranged weaponry. Nusingr has three siblings: an elder brother (28) and sister (32) and a younger brother (21). Between the three of them, he has 5 nieces and nephews.

Her species' hatred for snake-like Pokémon runs deep. Needless to say, she does not get along with Prema very much. However, Eshani does enjoy play-training with Vishal, taking him on in games of speed vs. strength.
Brief History:Eshani has been with Nusingr since his childhood. She had been a member of his household for many years (as had her mother before her). She was the family’s Zangoose, and she earned her stay by hunting any pest Pokémon that found its way onto the property (especially during monsoon season). She has known Nusingr since her birth, so when he left to live in the Palace complex, she went with him.
Misc:Eshani has a nose for trouble, and a strong, irrational dislike for snake-like Pokémon. Her fighting style is to strike fast and get out of the way of her foes.

Personality:Prema is a bit of a princess--very attentive to her cleanliness, spoiled, and a bit of an attention hog. The only exception she makes to her general rule of cleanliness is when she is eating; she has a terrible habit of playing with (that is, tormenting) her food and eating it while it still lives. She shares a not-sure-if-friendly rivalry with Eshani; most of it involves vying for Nusingr’s affections.
Brief History:A gift from someone very close to Nusingr, he acquired Prema only a year ago.
Misc:Prema’s aim in battle is to weaken her foes through poison or her Leech Seed, and then strike them when they’re at their weakest. Prema will usually be coiled about Nusingr’s shoulders/arms/neck when he is not preoccupied.

Ability: No Guard
Size: 7’2”/218 cm tall
Personality: Vishal is the embodiment of the strong, silent type. He is very reticent, almost to the point where it is impossible to tell what he thinks of you, or of a situation. Despite his lack of apparent expressiveness, he is very loyal to Nusingr, and values him very much as a trainer. He is incredibly patient--so much so that he served, for a time, as the trainer of newly-hatched Guard Pokémon. He has a quiet respect for Eshani, with whom he trains with quite frequently. He also enjoys Prema’s company, despite her needy nature.
Brief History: Vishal was one of two Pokémon that selected Nusingr while he was training to be part of the raja’s guard. While his companion eventually left Nusingr’s service, Vishal chose to stay with his trainer.
Misc: Vishal is the team’s tank. His job is to block incoming attacks then use his abilities to hammer away at his foes. Nusingr often wrestles with Vishal so that they might keep their fighting form in good shape.

Personality: Despite being a fully-grown Growlithe, Bhagya still behaves quite a bit like a puppy. She is affectionate, and really happy to receive any sort of attention.
